基于地震应力触发机制,系统地研究了主震对余震和中强震的触发作用,以及地震应力传输与强震迁移的关系,深化了对地震孕育发生机理的认识,为地震危险性评估提供参考依据,发展了考虑地震应力相互作用的新型地震概率模型,提高了地震中长期预测的可靠性;

针对大陆岩石圈热-化学组分结构的地球物理-地球化学联合反演问题进行了探索性研究。发展了基于热动力学模拟、联合多种观测资料反演岩石圈结构的新方法。
